Want to access our expertise?
You’ll get: personalised recommendations for up to two hotels or out-of-the-ordinary experiences, booked for you. This is for you if you’d like our expert advice around a couple of special elements of your trip, but want to organise everything else yourself.
Here’s how it works: you complete a brief to tell us what you’re looking for and then we’ll handle all the research. We’ll share your recommendations within a week of receiving your brief and we’ll also make the bookings for you when you’re ready.
Of the fee, £100 is a deposit towards your bookings. There’s no minimum spend for this service.
Want somebody to take away the stress, and plan it for you?
You’ll get: a personally-crafted adventurous escape, planned and booked for you. This is for you if you’d like a bespoke trip designed around your budget and what you love, and you’re too busy to do it yourself.
Here’s how it works: first, you complete a brief with some key details about your dream trip, and jump on a call with an expert (same as the scenario above). Then, we’ll handle all of the research and legwork to design a bespoke escape for you.
Within a week of our call, you’ll receive a personalised map outlining your trip, and you then have a 2-week window to ask us to swap out any of the ideas. Next, we’ll ask you for a deposit so that we can take care of all the bookings and logistics; you’ll typically pay the balance sixty days before you travel. Before you go, we’ll pull all of the information into a beautiful, interactive guide for you to take away with you.
There is a £5k minimum spend (excluding flights and day-to-day spend) for this service.
Want a completely unique and luxurious escape, with all the bells and whistles?
You’ll get: a one-off escape with extra special experiences you simply can’t find online, plus direct access to the Faraway founders and in-country support from our local contacts whilst you’re away. This is for you if you want to make sure your escape is absolutely, jaw-droppingly, incredible, with every little detail taken care of.
Here’s how it works: at this level, we can dedicate more of our time to creating an unforgettable escape for you. We’ll begin with a detailed discovery session, where we’ll ask you lots of questions to get to know you and the things you love doing. This can either be over the phone or in person (if we’re in the same city!). Then we’ll work with our network of contacts around the world to design a once-in-a-lifetime escape, with all of the logistics and bookings sorted for you, plus some unique surprises along the way.
Within two weeks of our discovery session, we’ll share your personalised map with you; this takes a little longer, and for good reason. Then we'll schedule a call to run through any changes or tweaks you’d like us to make (or we can set up a dedicated Whatsapp if you'd prefer). Next, we’ll ask you for a deposit so that we can take care of all the bookings and logistics; you’ll typically pay the balance sixty days before you travel. Before you go, we’ll pull all of the information into a beautiful, interactive guide, and send you a thoughtful parcel in the post.
There is a £15k minimum spend (excluding flights and day-to-day spend) for this service.

How long in advance should we start planning?
Six months is about right for a unique escape. It gives us plenty of time to design your dream trip and secure availability, and allows you to spread out the payments if you want to. If you’re planning to travel over peak season or you have your hearts set on something specific, we’d suggest getting started even earlier.
Can you help us choose where and when to go?
Absolutely. We’re great at helping people discover the perfect destination for them (often one they haven’t already thought of), and can advise on when’s best to go. We’ll cover this during the 45-minute discovery session.
How long do we have to give you feedback on the plans?
Like with all travel, the availability and prices we have access to are time-sensitive. We work really hard to create bespoke, life-changing trips; if we need to re-plan your trip because of missed availability, an additional fee will be payable. Don’t worry; we’ll check with you that you’re available to review the plans before we start planning, and we’ll send you at least two reminders before the deadline in case you forget.
What do you organise, and what do we?
In order to create a truly seamless escape for you, we'll organise and book all of your hotels and experiences whilst you’re away. You’ll book your own international flights; but, if you’d like our help, we can advise you on the best route.
If you go for our Whisk Us Away service, we can also help you with restaurant reservations and other excursions once you’re in-country.
If you choose our Kickstart Our Trip service, you simply tap into our expertise and book everything yourselves.
How do we pay for everything?
The service fee will be payable online when you complete your brief; it’s taken via credit or debit card.
Once you’re happy with your trip plans and ready to book, you’ll pay 1/3 of the total by bank transfer. The balance will be due 60 days before you travel. If you’d prefer to pay for your trip by credit card, there’s an additional processing fee of 1.5%.
What insurance do you have?
We are a member of the Travel Vault (reference EVO/FFI/2018 0016), and compliant with 'the Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992’. This means that all travellers are fully insured for the amount of money spent with us.
It’s mandatory for all travellers to have their own personal travel insurance for the full duration of the trip.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
Yes, we do.
We’ll work hard to get to know you both and design a life-changing trip just for you. But we’re human; we might not get it absolutely right every time. Once we share your travel plans with you, you have a fortnight to give us feedback and ask for any changes to be made.
If at this point you’re dissatisfied and we can’t put things right, we’ll refund your service fee. Note, this must be flagged to us within a fortnight of receiving your plans.
